- llms.txt is about interpretation. It tells a bot, "Now that you're here, this is what this data actually means."
If you block an AI bot in your robots file, you disappear from AI search engines like Perplexity. If you allow them in but don't provide context, you lose control. You need both to survive the shift from Search to Answer engines.
